Sid Lee is looking for Freelance Brand and Marketing Managers to ensure concept and tactics implementation for our client, a global sporting event. As a Brand and Marketing Manager, you will oversee the implementation of the Brand Launch tactics in your respective region (Miami, Central US, East Coast and West Coast) and will work closely with the Host Cities (HC) to ensure that all materials are produced in accordance with the Brand Launch Playbook. You will also work closely with Sid Lee strategy, creative, digital and account teams to report any issues, needs for changes or adjustments.
-Lead weekly status meetings to update the client on HC activities & next steps.
-Synthesize plans with the local activations of the HCs.
-Support and provide creative guidance for the host cities on launching their respective HC marks after the Brand Launch. You will report to Sid Lee’s strategic and creative team any issues that require more time.
-Serve as brand gatekeeper to ensure the integrity of the brand story is maintained.
-Manage HC Approval, ensuring the consistency of the brand through the execution made by the HCs.
-Serve as day-to-day POC for each HC team’s marketing lead and understand and support HC's goals for launch in parallel with the client’s.
-Identify others to synthesize with (i.e Commercial Affiliates and Media Rights Licenses).
-Supervise the planning, project manage all client-required approvals and feedback process for launch activities.
-Provide official sign-off for ideas to come to life on behalf of the client.
-Ensure alignment with the brand, tone of voice, overarching the client’s marketing strategy and help HCs ideate based-off a broader narrative to ensure cohesion.
-Troubleshoot day-to-day issues to ensure planning stays on track (timelines, budgets, sign-off, production).
-Assure the liaison with legal on the client side.
-Create and manage an All-City Campaign calendar.
